Excellent stay!

First - the entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional. This review is directed at the owners and management. When we arrived for market, the AC was out on the bottom floor. We were told it was temporary. We later found out upon checkout that the AC had been out for more than 3 weeks. In triple digit heat, this is extremely brutal for the staff. This affected the front desk, coffee shop, bar and restaurant. First night. Our rooms were nice. Clean. Love the floor plan. We were staying on different floors. Yet, on both floors our ice machine was out of order. In the morning, we had cold showers. Ugh. Second night. My room kept getting hotter and hotter. I realized the AC was out. I called down and was immediately moved to a suite, which was phenomenal. Gorgeous room. Definitely didn’t expect this and appreciated this!!! So as I write this… it just appears as though not enough is being done to maintain this hotel. We’ve decided not to stay again when we return to market in January.

I am truly moved by the exceptional kindness of the front desk staff during my recent stay. Their thoughtfulness brought tears to my eyes! Upon returning from dinner, I discovered a delightful stuffed horse in my room, accompanied by a lovely card that made the gesture even more special. When I checked in, I shared that my visit to Texas was to explore the possibility of purchasing a horse. The staff's attention to detail and personal touch truly exemplify the Ritz-Carlton's commitment to guest experience, and I am now a devoted customer for life. Additionally, the dinner I enjoyed was absolutely outstanding—truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

I had an excellent stay at the Warwick Melrose Dallas and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel has a beautiful, upscale atmosphere with classic character and charm that makes it feel much more distinctive than a typical chain property. My room was spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with a great bed and well-maintained furnishings. The entire property felt polished and cared for, from the guest room to the public spaces. The staff was a major highlight. Everyone I encountered was professional, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Service felt polished without being overly formal, and any questions or requests were handled courteously. The Oak Lawn location is excellent as well—convenient to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and other parts of Dallas while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. What I appreciated most was the hotel’s combination of historic elegance, comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. It feels sophisticated without being stuffy and has a personality that many newer hotels lack. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. I would confidently recommend the Warwick Melrose Dallas and would gladly return on a future trip.
